Online Dating

its the new way of dating because you don’t have to call a party line and press buttons and go on looks based on what that persons tell you and you look like a fool because they didn’t match up to their description that they told over the phone. Its better because you can see someone’s picture and get to know them a little better by reading their profile before you decide to send them a message. This is my thing though. By your fifth reply to that person you should be ready to exchange …

U said exactly what I was thinking about the pictures. My friend met this guy he had his mouth closed in all of his pictures. When she saw him in person his teeth were so jacked up. lol it was too funny, i was there because she didn’t wanna go by herself.

Online dating isn’t soooo bad. You just have to be SAFE & SMART. I’ve been dating a guy I met on myspace for about 4 months and this has been the best relationship I have EVER been in.

    P.S I LOVE THE SHOW =)

I think it’s just one of those things you strike lucky with. It’s not as effective as meeting someone upfront to me because you don’t get the subtle hints and it initially requires you to rely on the information they give you.

I think that online dating is the new thing. Like u said u have to def be careful. People always posting fake ass pics that they stole from someone else profile. These teens need to be careful too. I have never went thru with meeting someone but I can say that I may in the future. Remember the partyline? People used to be on there trying to sound sexy looking a hot mess.

  21. MrsD7777 says:

I agree 99% with you Scorpion….there are just as many psycho’s offline in the real world (even in Church too), as there are online in the cyberworld…so make sure they have a webcam (don’t rely on pics), then you can see is he/she is your type, OR if he/she has Terrets Syndrome…twitching & cussing you out at the same time! *LOL* (no offense to those suffering)

  22. cearaearl says:

US government regulation of dating services began with the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA) which took effect in March 2007 after a federal judge in Georgia upheld a challenge from the dating site European Connections.

  24. mizzy709 says:

The law requires internationally oriented dating services to conduct, among other procedures, sex offender checks on US customers before communication can occur with a foreigner.
Only 4 percent of Singaporeans having ever used an online dating service, Internet dating is not that popular despite the countrys high rate of internet penetration.

  25. mizzy709 says:

This could be attributed to the government’s traditional role of matching up singles in the past decades.
New Jersey became the first state to enact a law requiring the sites to disclose whether they perform background checks.
