It has been my experience that most of the women on dating sites are overweight or unattractive, unless they are bisexual and seeking a secondary lover. The bi chicks are usually attractive, cool, and very open-minded. I have a couple of personal ads, and I have received only a handfull of responses. I’m not fat and not ugly, but I’m slightly shorter than average.
lol i bet she isn’t a prize winner herself, the problem with people is that they watch to much god damn television where everybody is beautiful but in the real world everybody isn’t and that just seems to really mind fuck alot of people
Online dating is inherently flawed. The objectification viewpoint.. of looking for only ‘good looking’ people – is the first flaw. You can’t ’sense’ an attraction without the person in front for you. Body language, mannerisms, sound,.. speak to our best innate ability to process who is ‘attractive’ – NONE of that information is available in anyone’s profile. Further, the all-about-hookups mentality on online dating prohibits what dating should be, to discover the person. Online dating=FARCE.
Most women have TOO TOO high standards…I date online (cause I can). I find it the best way for relationships…It is like shopping for a guy…u pick WHAT u want out of a man.
Girls you are not going to find Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise online. Look for someone real hard and then settle for someone that you feel is right. If you keep your hopes up too high you will probably get divorced or cheat on your husband.
There is no price charming out there. And that goes for men too.
Women are much more vain than men are, so it’s not surprising why she would call that “neglecting themselves”. I, personally, don’t care about how people look~~
What BS. I’m a single guy and I look great after eighteen years of cardio and weightlifting. But then I’m not into online dating. Regardless, you’ve got to learn to focus more on a guy or girl’s personality, because that’s what will carry you through in the end. If you get married and both live to be ninety, do you think that either of you will still be “hot”? And will it even matter? Of course not.
It is true though, that most men do neglect themselves. Same for women.
No. It isn’t the men are just on there for hard core sex. Half of them are just out to score. They don’t want to go out to eat or for a coffee. THey just want a lot of Butt shots of you or ask you nasty questions all mostly pertaining to sex. Now, a few are ok, but most have alterior or nasty motives. They don’t want a girlfriend or wife just a good time and you know it.
well speaking from personal experience, i went on plentyoffish just looking to see who would be interested in a guy like me and i found my girlfirend who i am now madly in love with. though you are right, i have got plenty of messages from sluts who just want more pics of my abs or some shit. the good thing is though you can just ignore them.
Well Luke, I guess love can be found, but for the most part, it is just sex. With men trying to find something quick and easy like fast food. They rarely want a full course meal if you understand my meaning. I am happy for you and your lady. Maybe I will find a real man not a pimp trying to play me.
