Sunday, April 26th, 2009All my life, which is fifteen and a half years, I've struggled with various things, and could never really explain why. I never said my own orders at restaurants, always struggled with talking to people I didn't know, never raised my hand in class… A couple days ago, the source of the problem dawned on me. I have zero self esteem. This has severely affected my life, to the point where I took a year's break from school because I quite frankly, couldn't handle going. I want to change, I don't want to do this anymore… But I don't really know how to start.
Which brings me to why I'm spending five of my hard-earned Yahoo! points on this question. I'm reaching out… I need tips, reading material, anything at all that you could give me. I need to find my confidence and self-esteem. I know nothing is going to happen overnight.. So I have to start the battle as soon as I can.
